ABOUT ME
DOMINGO MOLINA, MD
I am a board certified orthopedic surgeon who fell in love with running and triathlon during a nearly hundred pound weight loss journey. I have a passion for helping athletes obtain their fitness goals. I enjoy sharing my weight loss journey and experiences with athletes of all backgrounds. I want to be able to share what I have learned, what works and what doesn’t work. My medical background comes in handy with injury prevention and knowledge of how the body works assists in creating workouts tailored for your goals.
I have experience in 5K races to the marathon distance as well as sprint, Olympic, 70.3, and full Ironman distance triathlon races.
I will help motivate you and provide a training plan that meets your schedule. I know what it is like to be a busy dad and have a full time job and try to fit in workouts for fitness goals.
There was once a time when running down the block was a struggle. I know how to get people off the couch and hitting their PR’s!

How do we structure our plans?
Are you a speedster or an endurance monster? I am a McMillan certified run coach and I use Greg McMillan's philosophy of tailoring each plan to how an athlete responds to a workout and how an athlete recovers from a workout.
You will be asked to fill out a questionnaire and a plan will be built for you. Each plan will be modified as the athlete progresses through the plan based on performance and recovery.
